To catch up with the more personal news of the Braemel family: Ring the bells and set free the doves, on Thursday my eldest son Guitar Hero got a job! He's been looking since early March, but this area is so depressed there's a lot of competition. And naturally enough with the strange quirks of fate, later in the same day he got the job offer, he got a second offer from a different company. Feast or famine. He decided to go with the first job as it's local, and will be permanently in the area, not requiring him to move long distances from site to site the way the second one would have, even though it paid more.
Congratulations, Guitar Hero
What should be fun for him is his first job is to help tear down one of his old elementary schools -- one that definitely wasn't good to Curly and was one of the reasons we moved out of that area. So he's looking forward to swinging a sledge hammer a time or two at those walls. (He's an electrical apprentice, if you were wondering.) But don't worry, after they've gutted the place, he'll be helping rewire it as they turn it into a new university campus.

So glad you husband found employment.
Ah, Guitar Hero is my eldest son. He's been through two college courses, the last one finished in December 2009. While he had a short-term temp job in January and February the pickings have been slim around here. (He was even looking in the middle east and the Yukon, so score that he's getting to stay close to home)

Time flies. Curly did a great job on the trailer.
