Contests Galore

Back on Wednesday, I mentioned that I have a milestone birthday coming up and was thinking of running some contests. I've been playing around with some ideas along those lines and on Friday night I put out a call on some of my groups asking for authors to help me celebrate my birthday by guest blogging during July.

Originally I said I'd like it to run from June 26 to July 26th, but I've had such a terrific response, I've had to extend it. (Well, it also gave the authors some extra days since a lot of them will be unavailable in the middle week of July as they'll be at RWA's national conference.)

Some big name authors that you asked for have volunteered, so have some brand new authors. There'll be a world-wide representation. Authors from Canada, of course, Britain, New Zealand and the United States. There'll be authors who write contemporaries, others who write paranormals. There are everything from cowboys to immortal demon hunters. Veterinarians to mermen. Bikers, bankers, and bodyguards. Everything from sweet to smokin' hot sexy.

So that makes three authors who are Vivi A's, a Shelli and a Shelley, and three Kellys (though Inez has an extra e in hers). Authors representing epubs such as Samhain and Ellora's Cave, Liquid Silver and Loose id amongst others, print publishers such as Bantam Dell, Berkley Heat, Berkley Sensation, and Berkley Trade, along with Harlequin's Silhouette Desire, and Silhouette Nocturne. What a listing!

Some authors will be running their own contests, but I'll be running ones concurrently.I'll be posting the details shortly once I've heard back from the few remaining authors to confirm their dates.
