Private Property's #1

I know I'm double posting for today, but I just discovered that Private Property is #1 on Samhain's My Bookstore and More bestseller list.

I'm gobsmacked. And I have never used that term before. I just have no idea how it's happened to catch on so quickly, especially since it's my first book and I'm a totally unknown author.

I'm speechless.

And what time was it last night when I predicted that?

To a certain unnamed publisher - I say, so there!

It's a menage, it's hot. Why would you be surprised?

You ninny.

I am so happy for you!!!

Marley - yes, I must admit, I had a bit of a nyah-nyah reaction myself to that 'other' publisher.

Amy and Christine - I am completely shocked and surprised. I hoped it was good, and that Angela bought it said she thought it had potential, but people are buying an unknown author - they have no idea if it's good. I was hopeful that it would get a groundswell and build up, but to be so high right from the get-go? I'm totally shocked. I love it! I'm savouring it, but still, shocked.

I'm wondering why you're surprised too. Not only is it a popular genre, but you've done an awesome job with promo. Congratulations!

*Happy Dance* ... I'm so glad to see you there at #1 were you belong. It's a fantastic book and I'm glad people are recognizing that.

BTW, I got a phone call this afternoon from someone telling me how wonderful your book is ... *LOL* ... I'd say that's "getting around" pretty good! :)
